Refund and cancellation policy

At NP Plant and Tool Hire, we strive to ensure your satisfaction with our equipment hire services. However, we understand that circumstances may change, and this policy outlines our terms for refunds and cancellations.
1. Refund Policy
- Refund Eligibility:
- Refunds are available only for hires that have not yet commenced.
- Once the hire period has started, refunds are not guaranteed. However, pro rata refunds for unused full days may be considered, subject to:
- Availability: Our ability to collect or accept the return of the equipment.
- Operational Priorities: Refunds may not be processed if logistical constraints prevent timely collection or return.
- Delivery Charges:
- Delivery charges are refundable only if the hire is canceled before delivery.
- If delivery has been completed and the customer decides to return the equipment early, delivery charges will not be partially refunded.
- Method of Refund:
- Refunds will be issued using the same method as the original payment:
- Online payments via Stripe or PayPal.
- In-store payments via cash or card.

- Processing Time:
- Refunds will typically be processed within 5–7 business days of approval.
2. Cancellation Policy
- Full Refunds:
- Cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice before the hire period begins will receive a full refund, including any delivery charges.
- Late Cancellations:
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the hire period start will incur a 20% cancellation fee, which will be deducted from the deposit.
- Non-Refundable Scenarios:
- If the hire has already commenced, refunds may not be issued for unused time unless otherwise agreed upon under the Refund Policy.
3. Special Conditions
- Refunds for partial days or early returns after hire commencement are not provided.
- Refunds for unused full days will depend on:
- Our Availability to collect the equipment or process the return.
- Pro Rata Pricing: Any refund will be calculated based on the daily hire rate.
